Yes, a CPSR is mandatory under EU Regulation (EC). No. 1223/2009 and the UK Cosmetics Regulation and is required for market entry.
CPSR stands for Cosmetic Product Safety Report. The CPSR is divided into two parts:
- Part A includes all critical product data, including ingredients, manufacturing, and testing information etc.
- Part B is the conclusion from the certified safety assessor including warnings and reasoning.
The CPSR is the foundation of your product’s compliance and consumer safety assurance.
